Comprehension:

  • Houghton-Mifflin Leveled Reading Passages (every school has at least 2 kits; schools that purchased HM received a kit for every classroom set purchased)
  • Lexia comprehension passages (Burns & Roe inventory)
  • Basic Literacy Test comprehension passages
  • Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA)
  • Any other Informal Reading Inventory (Silvaroli, Johns, etc.)

* These are suggestions.  There are many, many diagnostic assessments that can be utilized.
