With the uniform Block 8 Schedule that is being implemented in all high schools beginning in 2007-2008, the district had the opportunity to revise the existing regulation to reflect the additional units that can be earned and to set forth the expectation for all students to take a rigorous core of courses to prepare them for a successful future beyond high school.  The High School Graduation Administrative Regulation IHF-R(1) sets forth the graduation requirements for students entering 9th grade for the first time in 2007-2008.  Students enrolled in grades 9-12 in 2006-2007 and earlier will continue to use the graduation regulation that was in place when they entered high school.
