First Grade Reading Incentive Contest

International Paper ,SCCPSS, and  Leopold’s Ice Cream  are sponsoring a First Grade Reading Incentive Contest.  This contest is to foster a love for reading and to assist in the school system’s goal, of having every first grade student reading on grade level by the end of the 2007-2008 school year.  Students will log their reading at school.  The top reader from each school will advance to the finals which will consist of each school winner participating  in a poster contest.  The winner of the poster contest will win an Ice Cream party for the class as well as books for their school’s media center.
