Career Pathways

Savannah Needs Career Pathways

The Georgia Department of Education is initiating Career Pathways to help its students, schools, and the economy succeed. Career Pathways provide rigorous academic and technical content with seamless transitions for every high school student to obtain college and career success, which may include skills certificates, associate’s or bachelor’s degrees. Career Pathways help students connect success in the classroom with success in life, and once this happen, the possibilities are endless.

·    Students who experience education as a tool to build their future are much more likely to make the most of it.

·    Schools populated with motivated students encourage motivated teachers, and together they create energized learning communities.

·    Effective learning communities increasingly release well-prepared graduates into the workplace where they deliver a powerful stimulus to the economy, which benefits every Savannah resident.

Information about Career Pathways is available in the "Programs" section of this website.
