Dear Students:
What do you want to be when you grow up? You have probably been asked that question a lot. If you are like most teenagers, you are not sure what you want to do. It is hard to figure out what you want to be when you grow up. Even so, you have just taken the first step in figuring it out. You’ve decided to take charge of your life by viewing this website to gain information and insight that will help you make smart decisions about your education and career plans.
To help get you started, consider the Career Technical & Agricultural Education (CTAE) options featured in this website. Look at the Programs listed and pick out the one that best matches your interests and abilities. Look at the pathways available within that program; then document your choices by creating a Pathway Career Plan. This plan will help you navigate through high school, college, or other career-related training. Make sure to update your plan each year as you learn more about your pathway and yourself.
As you think about the future, I encourage you to dream big. Imagine what you want to do when you grow up and aim as high as possible. Your future is your choice. Take charge. Choose a career path today.
Good Luck,
Mr. Derrick Muhammad
