On Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the John A. Varnedoe Auditorium at Savannah Arts Academy, dozens of Communication Art students will take a walk down the red carpet as they preview their talents in the 2007 Film Festival.

Each year between 6:30 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. student producers arrive in their most glamorous attire and await a limo that takes them to the red carpet outside the front of Savannah Arts Academy, 500 Washington Road.  There they greet fans and sign autographs before making their way to the auditorium where they showcase their outstanding productions to parents, supporters, community and staff members.   In addition, these on-lookers get a glimpse of the talents of the next generation of Academy Award winners.
