SCCPSS has modified the school start and ending times for the 2007-2008 school year. The bell schedules were revised to ensure that students will have up to 30 minutes for breakfast. This will allow for shorter bus rides and increased on-time arrival for students.
The changes were made with the ultimate goal of increasing student achievement by allowing students adequate time for breakfast and ensuring that they are in class at the ring of the first bell.
Letters will be sent to parents of elementary students notifying them of the change.
