Savannah Arts Academy will host the first ever Young Males School Readiness Camp on Monday, August 20 through Friday, August 24, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The camp is open to SCCPSS young males in grades two through five at no cost. There are no income guidelines or selection process and applicants are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Students attending the camp will be taught academic courses, study skills, character building, self discipline, rites of passage and coping strategies.
Registration is being held today and tomorrow, August 16 and 17, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Pupil Personnel Services Office located in room 311 of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System’s Administrative Building at 208 Bull Street.
