Seventeen second through fifth graders attending the first ever Young Males School Readiness Camp this week will graduate from the program at noon on Friday, August 24, 2007 at Savannah Arts Academy. 

The graduation will culminate a week-long camp where students were taught academic courses, study skills, character building, self discipline, rites of passage and coping strategies.

Savannah Mayor Otis Johnson will be the guest speaker for the occasion and parents along with several SCCPSS representatives and board of education members will be on-hand to congratulate each student.
