Parents of new, re-enrolling, or transferring students will have the opportunity to enroll their child for school over the summer break. In addition, all SCCPSS high school students can pre-register for classes at their schools as a part of the “Enroll Me Monday’s” Program.
Parents are encouraged to take advantage of the new summer enrollment and registration opportunities to insure their child is scheduled appropriately for the first day of school.
“Enroll Me Monday’s” will be held at Beach, Groves, Jenkins, Johnson, Savannah High, Savannah Arts Academy and Windsor Forest High Schools from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following Mondays: July 16, 23, 30 and August 6, 13, and 20. Students will be able to meet with counselors and plan their schedules during registration.
Summer Enrollment will begin July 10 thru August 10 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Board of Education Central Administration Office, 208 Bull Street in room 103. Information Specialists will be available Tuesdays thru Fridays to enroll students.
Parents will also be able to enroll students at the Back-to-School Showcase on Saturday, August 18, at the Savannah Civic Center from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
The following documents are needed to enroll students in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System:
- Birth Certificate (certified copy)
- Georgia Certificate of Immunization – Form 3231
- Georgia Ear, Eye, and Dental Certificate (EED)
- Proof of Address ( one of the following items listed below)
- current mortgage statement; current lease or rental agreement (month to month); current gas, electric, or water bill; or current governmental agency mail (county, state, or federal)
The following items are requested:
- Social Security Card
- Most Recent Report Card (Grades 1-12)
- Unofficial Transcript (Grades 9-12)
A special "Everything you Need to Know About Heading Back-to-School" section has been added to the SCCPSS website: www.sccpss.com. Parents can download the entire registration packet and the required forms and information that students will need for heading back to school.
