The School Council of East Broad Elementary School will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the school, located at 400 East Broad Street.

Largo-Tibet Elementary School will also hold a special School Council meeting on Tuesday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the school, located at 430 Tibet Avenue.

The purpose of both meetings is to consider principal candidates for the 2007-2008 school year.

The A+ Education Reform Act of 2000 established school councils in the State of Georgia to provide advice, recommendations, and assistance to principals and local boards of education. The law details the composition of the council, its responsibilities, and procedures for conducting business.
