Approximately 70 students from the Early College program attended the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s National College Fair in Jacksonville, Florida.

The career fair provides students the opportunity to discuss postsecondary education with representatives from nearly 200 prospective colleges, universities and/or technical schools.  The students came prepared with a list of schools they wanted to talk with, prepared questions and a sheet of address labels to expedite the process.

“The college representatives commented on our students’ preparedness and the quality of their questions, and we are proud of how well they represented not only our school, but the district and GA Early College as well,” said Early Colleges’ Director of Guidance, Anne Weisel.  “The feedback from students and parents has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have already started receiving phone calls from college reps in our office this morning that were impressed by our students and wanting to set up a time to come to visit our school.”

For more information, call Early College at 912-963-7030.
