Margaret Hall, Media Specialist at Jenkins High School, has been selected to participate in a study program this summer at the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, England.  Hall is one of 525 educators chosen from across the nation who will take part in 27 summer study opportunities.  Her group will participate in a five week seminar entitled “Historical Interpretations of the Industrial Revolution in England.”

Hall has been with SCCPSS since moving to Savannah in 2005.  This is her third year at Jenkins.  She has a Master's Degree in Library Science from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University.

The National Endowment for the Humanities makes the summer study program possible.  It’s a federal agency that supports seminars and institutes at colleges and universities so educators can study with experts in humanities.  A stipend is provided to help with travel, study and living expenses.
