The Savannah-Chatham County Board of Public Education will hold a Special Board Meeting and two board committee meetings on Wednesday, August 27, 2008. The meetings will be held at the Whitney Administrative Complex – Building G, 2 Laura Street with the schedule as follows:
Accountability Committee begins at 8:30 a.m.
Special Board Meeting begins at 10:00 a.m.
Executive Session begins at 10:45 a.m.
Capital Improvement Committee begins at 11:00 a.m.
The purpose of the Accountability Committee Meeting is to continue work on the draft district accountability system. The purpose of the Capital Improvement Committee meeting is to discuss capital improvement items and update the public on ESPLOST.
