Young Males School Readiness Camp Graduation

Approximately 40 second through fifth graders attending the Young Males School Readiness Camp this week will graduate from the program at noon on Friday, August 22, 2008 at Savannah Arts Academy. 

 

The program in its second year, taught the young men academic courses, study skills, character building, self discipline, rites of passage and coping strategies. The graduation will culminate the three-week preparedness camp.
 

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department Chief Michael Berkow will be the guest speaker and parents along with several SCCPSS representatives and board of education members will be on-hand to congratulate each student.
