On Tuesday, February 12, 2008, the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System will honor the 2009 Instructional Support Person of the Year (ISPY) and each school’s individual nominee at an awards luncheon beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Savannah Station.

Nominees from elementary, middle, high schools and alternative sites will enjoy a buffet lunch during the program which honors the best of the best.  ISPY nominees include custodians, food services employees, school nurses, data clerks, campus police officers, paraprofessionals and secretaries from all SCCPSS sites. 

Media representatives wishing to attend should arrive around 12:30 p.m. as the winner will be announced following the recognition of each individual school’s Instructional Support Person of the Year nominee.
