In celebration of Arbor Day, May Howard Elementary School is hosting Tim Womick and his Trail of Trees tour on February 13th at 1 p.m. Womick, also known as “The Tree Guy,” is often referred to as the modern day Johnny Appleseed. A trained performer, he uses his talents to entertain, inspire and inform audiences about the benefits of trees and the significance of Arbor Day. Arbor Day is celebrated in Georgia on the third Friday in February.
