Congratulations to Savannah High School Boys Basketball Teams for proceeding to the next round in State Basketball Competition Savannah High School defeated Tift County High School 68 – 45.

Congratulations to Beach High School and Groves High Girls basketball Team for proceeding to the next round in State Basketball Competition. Beach High defeated Tift County High School 56 – 37 and Groves High defeated Coffee County High School 51 - 48.

On Tuesday, February 26, 2008, Savannah-Chatham County Public School System will continue the 3- AAAAA State Basketball Tournament. Tickets are $7.00 for admission. The schedule is as followed:

Tuesday – February 26, 2008   7:00 pm

Boys

Savannah High School vs Mundy’s Mill High School

Mundy’s Mill – Jonesboro, GA 

 

Wednesday – February 27, 2008   600 pm / 7:00 PM

Girls

Beach High School vs. Redan High School  6:00 PM

Beach High School – Savannah, GA

 

Groves High School vs Luella High School  7:00 PM

Groves High School – Savannah, GA 

 

The winners will go on to compete on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Savannah State University.
