Our SCCPSS Executive Summaries provide readers with user-friendly information that highlights the K-12 student assessment and testing program. These assessments and/or tests measure student achievement on the state, national, program and local mandated curriculum to provide parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, the community and/or staff with important analytical district information. The executive summaries are also used to identify the strengths and weaknesses in areas of student performance.
Our executive summaries are reports that contain enough information for the readers to become acquainted with the full document without reading it. It is placed at the beginning of the document and is expected to be read more frequently and by more people than the entire document. Usually, it contains a statement of the problem, some background information and the major conclusions to give the reader a good idea of main points of the document without becoming bogged down with details.
