PROJECT CHARTER

Purpose

The purpose of this project is to enhance our efficiency, control, and access to documents for our customers by converting these documents and records to digital format using Westbrook Fortis technology.

Objectives

The Objectives of this Project are to:

• Promote and Increase Organizational Awareness of the Capability and Functionality of using EDMS
• Develop a Business Model for EDMS
• Analyze, Develop and Implement an Imaging Strategy for Existing Records
• Perform Backfile Conversion of Existing Imaged Files Stored on RDMS System
• Perform Process Reengineering of Existing Departmental Imaging Processes to Efficiently Utilize Capabilities of EDMS
• Evaluate Unidentified Potential Organizational Needs for EDMS Technology
• Create District Forms Standards for Improved Automation
