School Crossing Guards (unincorporated areas)
School Crossing Guards are provided for the Savannah-Chatham County schools in the unincorporated areas of Chatham County. School Crossing Guard assist school children in crossing the streets on their way to and from school. Crossing Guard duties and responsibilities include interrupting the flow of traffic to enable students to cross the streets, keeping children at curbs, leading children across the street, and reporting speeders and violators.
