1. Free and Reduced Meal Applications should be submitted to the Central Office located: 208 Bull Street, Room 308 Savannah, Ga. 31401. The meal applications are processed centrally.
2. The 2008-09 Meal Application are currently available on the Website.
3. Please use ONE Free and Reduced Meal Applications per household, the exception is for foster children. Fill out a separate meal application for each foster child.
4. Please be sure to complete the entire Free and Reduced Meal Application. Incomplete applications will be returned which will cause a delay in processing.
5. Please use 2008-09 Free and Reduced Meal Application ONLY.
6. If you did not submit a meal application for your child for this year, after September 26th please send money with your child to pay for their meals. The cost for Breakfast is $.75 cents and $1.65 for Lunch.
7. Runaway, homeless and migrant students qualify for free meals. Please contact your school’s social worker for details.
8. Paid lunch prices are: $1.65 for Students. Adult lunch meal prices are: $2.65. Reduced lunch prices are: $. 40 cents.
9. Paid breakfast prices are: $.75 cents. Adult breakfast prices are: $1.25. Reduced breakfast prices are: $.30 cents.
10. Elementary schools will celebrate National School Week on October 9-12, 2006. “Vote for School Lunch” is this year’s theme.
11. Our District has a Wellness Policy. It was approved by board in April, 2006. The wellness taskforce committee will develop administrative regulations.
12. Prepayment is encouraged for your children. We accept weekly, monthly or yearly prepayment. Ask your school nutrition manager/supervisor for a prepayment envelope.
13. Checks, debit or credit cards are not accepted for payment.
