SCCPSS is proud to name Jemelle Osborne of Hubert Middle School as the Superintendent’s Student of the Month.
This highly motivated eighth-grader is a high honor roll student with perfect attendance. Jemelle has successfully maintained a 3.0 GPA, and consistently shows improvement in all academic areas.
Selected for his academic performance and excellent conduct, Jemelle pursues challenges with great effort and is eager to learn new things. Jemelle is also very polite and exhibits great leadership qualities. He’s a member of the football and basketball team, and he enjoys reading and helping others.
When asked what motivates him to strive for academic success, Jemelle said…. “I like making the honor roll. I like making good grades and I like being the best that I can be.”
The Superintendent’s Student of the Month program recognizes individual students at the monthly board meetings who have excelled in the area of academics, leadership and community service. Jemelle will receive a plaque award, $100 savings bond from Wachovia and special recognition from Dr. Lockamy at the board meeting on Wednesday, June 4.
