Christian is a true leader among her peers, often tutoring her classmates that need extra help. She is a recipient of the Citizen of the Month Award, and is currently receiving high school credit for Algebra. Christian has maintained perfect attendance, and thoroughly enjoys participating in extracurricular activities.
When asked what motivates her to strive for academic success, Christian says.... “My parents encourage me to succeed, so I can grow up to be whatever I want to be.”
The Superintendent’s Student of the Month program recognizes individual students at the monthly board meetings who have excelled in the area of academics, leadership and community service. Christian will receive a plaque award, $100 savings bond from Wachovia and special recognition from Dr. Lockamy at the board meeting on Wednesday, February 6.
