Accelerated Reader at Georgetown Elementary
Accelerated Reader is a reading program in which students read books from our school's Accelerated Reader list and then take comprehension quizzes on networked computers in our school. Students earn points based on the percentage of correctly answered questions.
Students may check out Accelerated Reader books from the school media center or the public library. At Georgetown, the Accelerated Reader books in the media center are labeled and color coded according to reading level.
Georgetown Elementary School owns over 5,300 Accelerated Reader quizzes. Quizzes are added frequently and the list is updated as often as possible.
