Circulation
Patrons are allowed to check out up to three books for a period of two weeks. Fines for overdue books are charged at 5 cents per school day. Students are not allowed to check out materials if they have a fine due or any overdue materials. Students must pay for any lost books at the list price. Reference materials and audio books are available in the media center but may not be checked out.
Services
Computers – The media center has seventeen computers available for student use. These computers are equipped with Microsoft Office production programs, and other multi-media programs for students’ use.
Online Databases – All computers in the media center have access to the GALILEO database collection as well as NetTrekker.
Book Club – The Johnson High School Book Club meets in the media center once a month to discuss and enjoy a new book. The schedule of reading is available at the circulation desk.
Printing and Copying – Printing and copying is available in the media center at a cost of 5 cents per page.
Replacement IDs – Replacement student IDs are made in the media center each school day during lunch at a cost of $6.00 each.
