"Prevention, Deterrence Before Apprehension"

- Savannah-Chatham Board of Education Campus Police Department Motto

From the desk of the School Resource Officers:

School Resource Officers (SROs) are certified Georgia Law Enforcement Officers assigned to Elementary, Middle, and High schools to ensure safety and security.  Upon request, SROs provide prevention lessons for students and faculty.  School Resource Officers are also a medium for which Administration, Faculty, Parents, and Students can report crimes or suspicions that pertain to the school.  Each SRO is stationed in a school to assist in enforcing the Board of Education Code of Conduct as well as Georgia law.  Students are the number one priority.  By fostering good decision making skills and morals, School Resource Officers help to make our campus as safe as possible.
