Thank you for your interest in Savannah Arts Academy.

We are a public, dedicated arts academy that provides a specialized four-year arts plan.  The program consists of stringent academic standards and high quality professional performance.  Students qualify for high school graduation and entrance into college, while discovering and developing their talents in the arts.

In addition to their academic studies, students participate in a variety of courses in the fine and performing arts.  Students receive individual and group instruction in specific performance skills such as acting, dancing and singing, as well as band, orchestra, piano, theatre arts, communication arts, and visual arts.  An emphasis is placed on fundamentals, theory, and student performance.  The Academy provides high-level academic subjects to stimulate the students' abilities and creative growth.  SAA students are challenged throughout the curriculum, as well as in studios, workshops, master classes, and collaborative cross-disciplinary student projects.  The enthusiasm of the students and the accolades received for performance reflect the quality of the SAA program.
