High school is a great time for students to practice better study skills in preparation for college and/or the workforce.  Below is a handout that we have written to assist students with their approach to studying. 

Study Skills 101

Another great resource for general time management and personal skills is the book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey.  We use this book in our tenth grade advisement sessions, but we can not cover each important item in the book.  Students may want to use one of the copies available  in the library to learn more about self-improvement.
