Dear Parents:
Please be reminded that it is against School Board Policy for students to transport medication to and from school. If your child is in need of medication, please purchase the medication, bring it to school yourself, and sign it in with the School Nurse. I am not allowed to administer medication with notes or phone calls from parents. Additionally, I do not have a supply of medication on hand to give to students. As a parent, it is your responsibility to supply your child's medication. Rest assured that the medication that you sign in with the nurse is your child's private supply and will not be share with anyone else. If you have any questions or concerns, please fell free to contact me with the information listed below.
Thank you in advance! |

FYI:
Please review the info provided at the link below. This maybe a topic that you would like to discuss in class. As we approach the cold & flu season, remember that hand sanitizing is great, but it doesn't substitute for hand washing. We should all encourage sick students to stay home, and spray as often as possible with a disinfectant spray.

Is it a Cold or the Flu?
The flu and the common cold are both respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by different viruses. Because these two types of illnesses have similar flu-like symptoms, it can be difficult (or even impossible) to tell the difference between them based on symptoms alone. Special tests that usually must be done within the first few days of illnesses can be carried out, when needed to tell if a person has the flu.
