Academic Coach

  Academic Coaches play a critical role in school improvement initiatives.

  All Title I schools have Academic Coaches who are responsible for

  providing technical and professional support in the planning, preparation,

  and documentation of school improvement efforts at the school level in

  accordance with NCLB requirements. Academic Coaches serve as 

 liaisons between Title I schools and the district's academic offices for

 training, mentoring, coaching, and modeling. They are leaders in the

 development of professional learning communities in the Title I schools.
