Early College of the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools is in its third year.  We are excited about bringing this program as another option for high school students.

The curriculum is uniquely designed to provide high school students with an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and pursue up to two years of transferrable college credit towards a bachelor’s degree.

Early College is funded in part by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which is a supporter of the small schools initiative sweeping the nation.

Early College serves students who are traditionally underrepresented on college campuses, with rigorous academic courses and elective credits within two specific pathways. Not only will students enjoy the benefits of coursework taught by specialized secondary teachers, they will gain unique expertise from professors at Savannah State University and Savannah Technical College.
