HELP WITH YOUR FAFSA

College Goal Sunday is a great way to get help with your FAFSA! Sunday, February 28th at 2:00 pm Armstrong Atlantic State University will offer free professional assistance in filling out your 2009-2010 FAFSA. You do not have to be planning to attend AASU to take advantage of this great opportunity. The link above will give your more information about this national initiative, and you can also contact Ms. Ellie Pelt in the Office of Financial Aid at AASU 912.344.3266.
Remember to visit www.pin.ed.gov to have your pin number ready for Sunday.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MALE STUDENTS
Male students are required by law to register for Selective Service when they reach age 18. Failure to follow this law can create problems with your college financial aid. You can register for Selective Service at the post office or online at: http://www.sss.gov/
We are welcoming the daily arrival of more and more packets of information from colleges and universities from across the country! Please take the time to stop in the Counseling and Career Center and take a look.
Based on the success we had last year with the Career Cruising software provided by the district, students will continue to build their online portfolios and complete interest inventories and college searches. Initial exploration is starting through classroom guidance sessions with all grade levels, but if you would like to get started on your own please come to the Counseling and Career Center for your username and password.
