All students are required by the district to complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service by the end of their junior year.  Because of the value Early College places on college readiness and the establishment of a collegiate atmosphere, our students are strongly encouraged to go above and beyond this minimum requirement.  Opportunities will be routinely presented on the morning announcements as well as posted on the board outside the counseling office.  Students will be required to pick up a documentation form from the counseling office and complete both the form and a short three paragraph essay documenting their experience.  Forms should be completed and turned in to their homeroom teacher by Friday May 28th, 22010 to be counted for the school year.
