Peregrine Falcon

Falco peregrinus

A master flyer, an adult peregrine falcon can reach speeds in access of 200 mph when diving after prey.  Peregrines can be found in many parts of the world and feed mostly on smaller birds and mammals.  Highly adaptable, the peregrine can also be spotted on tall city buildings as they search for pigeons.
