Home School Programs

This exciting new program series will provide supplemental educational experiences for our homeschooled students. The content of these programs was chosen from the Georgia Performance Standards. Familes are welcome to attend as a group though some activities may not be suitable for all age groups.

$3 per Chatham County students;

$6 out of county students

regular entrance fees apply for additional non-participating guests.

Classification-How are organisms grouped together? Learn the basics of classification, meet some of Oatland’s educational animals and try your hand at placing some organisms into scientific groups. (Fifth grade)

December 18

1:30-3:00pm

Amazing Astronomy- What is a constellation? What makes the moon to look different? Why are some stars white, blue or even red? How do I find Polaris, the North Star? Join us inside our portable planetarium to explore these and many other mysteries of the universe. (Grades 2-4)
