Next Up - Main Building Renovation (target completion - 2010)
As part of ESPLOST, Oatland Island Wildlife Center's main building will be undergoing a $5 million renovation starting on June 15th 2009. The building update will...
- triple the usuable guest space of the building
- feature 7 total classroom/conference room spaces.
- provide a new display area for the Center's program animal collection.
- include a new veterinary clinic with public viewing windows and featuring an x-ray room, a sugery suite and a pharmacy.
- invite guests into a new "open space" lobby that will allow for easier traffic flow.
- have brand new restroom facilities.
- be fully accesible.
- provide a unique space for conferences, events, programs, and presentations of all kinds.
