Wolf Wilderness follows the path of researchers studying wolf behavior. Along the journey, guests encounter several exciting animal exhibits culminating in an incredible nose to nose experience with a pack of six gray wolves.
|

The trail leads you to an observation cabin tucked deep in the woods. Before entering, you'll be surprised by a group of armadillos that has taken up residency on the cabin's front porch! |
From the minute you pass the Wolf Wilderness entrance banner, you will be following a team of researchers studying wolves in the area. Along the way, you will encounter field notes left behind by the team and learn ways that biologists track wolf packs in the wild.

Get ready to get closer than you'd ever thought possible to wolves.

The trail exits the cabin and winds past an exhibit for peregrine falcon. These swift birds are one of the fastest animals on Earth! |
Once inside the cabin, learn about wolf behavior, pack structure and other elements of wolf biology at the research desk.

Before you leave the cabin, explore smaller exhibits for bats, snakes, lizards and tarantulas.
