Currently, our main building is closed for extensive renovations.  Restrooms can be found next to the picnic pavilions.  A welcome center featuring a gift shop along with concessions and small animal exhibits can be found directly across the street from the restrooms.  Thank you for your patience as we continue to grow your wildlife center!

Featured Exhibits

Wolf Wilderness – Get closer than you could ever imagine to our pack of wolves.  Enter a researcher's cabin to view armadillos, bats, snakes, spiders and peregrine falcons as you learn about how field biologists track animals in the wild.

Alligator Wetlands – Enter the wold of one of Georgia’s most recognizable animals -  the American Alligator!  Discover an alligator nest burrow and find out how these reptiles are adapted for life in the water.

Predators of Georgia – Catch a rare glimpse of some of the Peach State’s most skilled hunters.  Along the trail encounter cougar, red fox and bobcats.  Be patient, these animals live in large naturalistic exhibits and might be hard to spot at first!

Birds of Prey – Encounter hawks, owls and our nation’s symbol the bald eagle as you pass by several exhibits featuring Georgia’s powerful birds of prey.  Compare nests of all shapes and sizes and sit in a full size replica bald eagle's nest.

The Georgia Farm – Explore a farm yard right in the heart of Savannah!  Sheep, goats, donkeys, cows and other domestic animals call our Georgia farm home.
