
The Business and Community Partners program is a great way for businesses, corporations and individuals to help support the important work being done at Oatland Island Wildlife Center. Oatland Island Wildlife Center offers many special Saturday events during the school year for visitors and locals alike to enjoy. Our goal is to offer quality programs that are both educational and fun for all ages, and to make Oatland a 'household' name! We want Oatland to be at the top of every family's list of fun places to go. In fact, we were voted one of the top three "fun places to take kids" in Savannah magazines "Best of Savannah" contest!

Eagle Level
Since 2002, The Friends of Oatland (FOO) has been a vital support organization for Oatland Island. FOO assists the activities of the Center by planning and staffing special events, providing volunteers and funding marketing and promotional efforts. Members of FOO enjoy special benefits including year-round admission to Oatland Island as well as discounts at special events and programs.

The Junior League of Savannah

The Junior League of Savannah funds exhibit restorations and other improvements at Oatland Island in addition to providing volunteers to staff the annual Halloween Hike, Sheep to Shawl, and Cane Grinding Festivals. Many important construction projects have been funded through the generosity of the Jr. League including the Wolf Wilderness Exhibit, the Wetlands Observation Pier, the Ledbetter Pond Overlook boardwalk and the Historic Home site Renovation Project.
