Volunteer at Oatland Island Wildlife Center
Oatland Island relies heavily on its team of over 100 dedicated volunteers. Each year, volunteers give over 2,000 hours of their time at events, with animal care, and interpreters. Special teams of volunteers from local businesses and organizations come out on special work days to help with site cleanup, planting and general maintenance projects. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to volunteer alone. 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent when volunteering.
