The Communities in Schools Performance Learning Centers (PLCs) collaborated with local school districts to serve high school students who are not succeeding in a traditional school setting.

PLCs are located in off-campus or detached centers and create a business-like learning environment where students complete assignments using an integrated online and project-based learning curriculum.

Savannah Corporate Academy PLC is a voluntary alternative education program designed to help students who are at-risk of dropping out of school or have recently dropped out stay in school and earn their high school diploma. 

Located on the campus of Savannah Technical College, students will have the opportunity to earn college credits and gain college skills that will prepare them for the “real world.”

The PLC establishes an environment of high expectations, which allows students ample opportunity to graduate and emerge with certifiable employment skills.
