John Wesley Hubert Middle School is one of ten middle schools in the Savannah-Chatham County public school system. Hubert houses sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The facilities have undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. New labs, a band room and a media center were added. A staff dedicated to ensuring a safe learning environment provides instruction in 100 minute academic blocks and 70 minute Connections blocks utilizing a revised and current curriculum. Hubert is currently implementing the America's Choice/Georgia's Choice initiative.
Hubert's curriculum and programs are designed to serve students who display advanced qualities in intellect, leadership, motivation, creativity, music, drama, and dance. Students prepare portfolios to share with parents and family at the end of each year. |
