Return to Normal Operations Expected Monday After Ian Moves Out

Published on: 9/30/2022

Hurricane Ian has moved away from our area and we are pleased to report that preliminary assessments indicate that all facilities are online with no damages.  Crews will be conducting  final assessments throughout the weekend.  We anticipate that all schools will be open on Monday and will operate on normal schedules.

If anything changes over the weekend that would impact school schedules on Monday, families will be notified through the parent notification system and can always find information on our website at sccpss.com and on our social media channels.

While we were spared any major impacts from this storm, we are grateful for your patience and support during this weather event.  The safety of our staff, students and families is our top priority!
