Three SCCPSS students were recently announced First District RESA Winners of the 2020-21 Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition. The students won the district level competition last spring before moving on to the regional rounds of the YGA Writing Competition. The winning authors are:
- Irene Park, “I Am", Esther F. Garrison School for the Art, Grade 4, FIRST PLACE
- Maeve Morgan, “Summer", Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts, Grade 6, WINNER
- Meredith Sneed, “Etched Into a Canvas", Savannah Arts Academy, Grade 10: WINNER
The students will be celebrated at an event on October 26th in Liberty County.
