​​Portrait of David BringmanDavid has lived on Savannah’s Southside since 1984 and continues to reside there with his wife, Kelly. Their children attend public schools. David began his public school education at Gould and Butler Elementary Schools. He continued to Bartlett Middle School, graduating from Alfred Ely Beach High School in 1997. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Physical Therapy in 2002 from Armstrong Atlantic State University. In 2011, David returned to the classroom and earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston. He serves as the Rehabilitation Sciences Program Coordinator at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus in Savannah and an assistant professor within Georgia Southern’s Waters College of Health Professions.


Dr. David A. Bringman PT, DPT was the recipient of the 2018 H. Dean Propst Award for exceptional teaching and has been named a Chancellor’s Learning Scholar for 2019-2020.​
