Title IV, Part B –21st Century Community Learning Centers

The SCCPSS Title IV, Part B, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program provides federal funding to support the creation or expansion of community learning centers that operate during non-school hours. These centers focus on three key goals:

  1. Academic Enrichment: Deliver tutoring and enrichment opportunities to help students meet state and local standards in core subjects such as reading and mathematics.

  2. Expanded Learning: Offer a variety of programs and activities that enhance and complement the regular school curriculum.

  3. Family Engagement: Provide meaningful opportunities for families to actively participate in and support their children’s education.
