Georgia State School Superintendent Mr. Richard Woods visited New Hampstead K-8 on Monday, February 24,2025, to present Leader Banners to the administrators of nineteen Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools recognizing exceptional achievement or growth in reading and mathematics.
Superintendent Dr. Denise Watts accepted a $100,000 donation from Greg Parker for the Fueling the Community initiative.
This donation supports teachers and students throughout the district.
Schools were recognized for achievement or growth in the percentage of students reading at or above grade level.
