Payroll
The Payroll Team processes payroll for the district while ensuring that SCCPSS Board Policies, DOL Guidelines, and Federal and State laws are followed, employees are paid accurately and on time. The Payroll Department is also responsible for providing the necessary training and assistance to departments/sites to ensure the payroll process is understood.
Additionally, the payroll department processes all supplemental pay, wage withholding orders, VOE requests, and employee audits.
More than 95,000 payroll checks are produced each year, including 1,200 manual checks. Approximately 7,000 W-2’s are prepared each year.
