Become A Business Partner
he saying “it takes a village to raise a child" means that an entire community of people must interact with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. That is true in school as well as in the home. The Business and Community Partners that donate time and resources to Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools are an integral part of our “village". We value the contributions they make to enhance the well-being and education of our students each day and welcome their involvement in our schools! If you or your business is interested in becoming part of our village, please find information on how to get involved below.
Becoming a Business/Community Partner of Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools is a simple process:
STEP 1 – Register your business/organization using our online Business & Community Partner Registration Form. This form enables you to tell us about your business/organization and lists some potential partnership activities that you might be interested in. You do not have to select a school at this time, but our “Menu of Opportunity” may be helpful when searching for opportunities to partner.
STEP 2 – Search and sign up for partnership opportunities that are a good fit for your business. Here is our list of SCCPSS schools and their specific needs. If you do not see an opportunity that fits your business' mission, simply contact school representatives directly to discuss your ideas further.
STEP 3 – Connect with the school's Business & Community Partner coordinator prior to participating in your partnership opportunity. The School and Business/Community representatives should agree upon mutual benefits of the partnership.
STEP 4 – Review and renew
Each school year, Business & Community Partners and schools will review and renew their partnership and involvement to ensure the partnership continues to be mutually beneficial to students, school and business.
